From The START...
My Art Obsession since childhood...
Art has always been my fascination! If you are an artist, you might relate.
During my school days, I doodled all the time. You could find me doodling on the sides of the textbook pages, notebooks & sometimes hands & arms too! I know that's too much.
Flowers, bees, geometric patterns, landscapes, houses, rivers & mountains and once I tested my skills with portraits. Sketching my teacher was funny enough for me & my friend to giggle during class. Thank God the teacher did not find us. I'm bad at portraits, to be honest. I would sketch, draw and paint whenever I found myself bored out.
My favorite class was learning everything 'ART' from my art teacher during school days.
I wish I knew sooner 'Creating Art' could make A Career!
Migrating to USA...
The Early Years of
Painting journey...
With no luck in finding a job here in the USA, I started working on my passion
'Art & Painting'.
Back in 2017, I stumbled across some beautiful artwork on Pinterest — and to my surprise, it was all done in watercolor. I had always thought watercolor was too tricky and delicate to handle, but something about it just pulled me in.
I started with a student-grade Winsor & Newton Cotman set, a few brushes, and a watercolor pad. I honestly had no clue what I was doing, but I was so excited to learn!
Through lots of experimenting, reading, and watching artists online, I slowly found my flow — and I’ve been in love with watercolor ever since.
I Found My Calling...
A New Beginning...
Amidst the Covid outbreak in 2020, I was occupied with the launch of my ETSY Shop.
Through a lot of exploring and self-learning, I eventually found my own artistic voice. Watercolor wasn’t easy to master — building confidence with it took time — but I welcomed the challenge and kept going.
Before I ever launched on Etsy, I was doing commission work and sharing my paintings with friends and clients. The support I received truly encouraged me, and that’s what led me to open an online shop — a space where people could easily view and purchase my work. A few sales turned into something bigger, and that’s when I officially launched my Etsy store.
Today, my botanical watercolor florals — known for their soft details and rich, vibrant colors — are loved by collectors around the world. Whether you’re looking for an original piece or a timeless Giclée print, each one is created with care to bring lasting beauty into your space.

Best Year 0f my Life, 2021...
One Of My Best Years...
I never thought I’d actually land a licensing deal.
During the pandemic, I discovered surface pattern design — and I was instantly hooked. That curiosity turned into a full-on deep dive in 2019, as I dedicated myself to learning the craft and building a growing library of original patterns.
Soon after, I began uploading my designs to print-on-demand platforms, and to my surprise (and joy!), a couple of them became bestsellers.
Then in 2021, I had a truly exciting moment: Deny Designs reached out to license my patterns for their client, Bed Bath & Beyond — one of the leading names in home decor in the U.S. It felt like a huge milestone and a reminder of what’s possible when you keep showing up for your creative dreams.

New Ventures, Educator, Classes....
In 2022, I decided to pursue a long-time dream: launching my own retail business. That dream became reality in 2023 with the launch of my online store, SATTVAM LLC — a space inspired by mindful living and beautiful design.
At the same time, after seven years of exploring watercolor through endless hours of practice and learning, I felt called to start sharing what I’ve learned with other aspiring artists. So, I created a beginner-friendly e-book — a simple, practical guide to help you start your watercolor journey with confidence.
But that’s just the beginning! I’ve also got some exciting creative projects in the works, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
